Information We Collect

iSIGN Smart Antennas and related products use Bluetooth object exchange (OBEX) protocol and Object Push protocol (OPP) to ‘discover’ your device’s unique Bluetooth address. Contained within this address is device information such as the device’s Bluetooth name which contains the make and model of your phone. You must enable Bluetooth and make your device discoverable over Bluetooth to be discovered. Once in the discoverable Bluetooth mode, your device broadcasts to other Bluetooth devices nearby (including our Smart Antennas). Your device’s Bluetooth Address is a globally-unique identifier that identifies each Bluetooth-capable device. This address does not identify any attributes of the device or its user. After Bluetooth discovery, our Smart Antennas may send your device a prompt asking if you are interested in receiving an offer. Only consumers that opt-in, receive the offer. iSIGN Media collects very specific device information in order to operate effectively and bring you the best products, services and experiences we can. Consumers that opt-off do not receive the prompt for the offer again. We collect device-specific information, unique Bluetooth ID device identifiers, location information through various technologies including Wi-Fi access points and smart antenna network information, as well as advertising campaign offers and related information. In addition, we collect the following information: the random, anonymous network model number of the Bluetooth adapter in the phone or mobile device, the make and model of the device, date and time of the connection, and the dwell time that the phone communicates with our Smart Antenna. And store this information singularly and in combination. We also store information relating to how long the device was within range of our iSIGN Smart Antennas, and Transfer data relating to whether prompts that are presented to the device via Bluetooth whether accepted, rejected or ignored, date and time of communications. In addition to Bluetooth messaging, iSIGN Smart Antennas support Wi-Fi messaging. To interact with a Smart Antenna using Wi-Fi, you must connect to it just like any other Wi-Fi Access Point. No user name or password is required to make this connection. After connection your device’s web browser can be launched and it will be re-directed to a web server that resides within each Smart Antenna. No internet browsing is supported. Web pages reside within each Smart Antenna. Web pages residing on the Smart Antenna web server showing in-store offers can be selected. We also store information related to whether a phone or other mobile device connects to our contained Wi-Fi open connection and landing and other pages, connect time, and “Events” described as if a user opens a web page and Poll Event if a user took a pool through a Wi-Fi connection. When connected via our contained Wi-Fi access point, we store the device’s Wi-Fi Media Access Control unique identifier ID (MAC address) with location and connection data and web page hits for each Wi-Fi MAC address at each location. We combine this information or store and use it singularly to form a Discovery Record. The information stored is specific information about the mobile device, not the owner or user of the device. We do not ‘discover’ or store personal information that would reveal the identity of the device owner or registered user, contact address, age, mobile phone number or other personal information. We do not discover, store, have access to or use demographic information – gender, country, name or contact.or other messaging by advertisers on the iSIGN network or other sites linked to iSIGN Smart Antenna Bluetooth or Wi-Fi exposed content pages.
